January 31 - February 21 - Maui Whale Festival, Wailuku - The Maui Whale Festival is a series of events held in honor of the humpback whales that migrate 3,000 miles to Maui each winter. The events include free talks, special cruises and whalewatches, a fun run, an all-day celebration in the park (Whale Day) and more.
