You can climb on the dunes but no motorized vehicles are allowed on them. Other activities in the park include, boating, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, and dune skiing and sledding. There is an observatory at the park that is open to the public from early April through mid-October on Friday and Saturday nights.
