Alligator Bayou Swamp Tours - Offers eco-swamp tours of Alligator Bayou and Bluff Swamp. The vessel is barge-style with comfortable seating and is covered for guest convenience. Much of the tour will be through Cypress Flats, a hauntingly beautiful lake of old-growth cypress trees. Typical wildlife includes gators, birds, turtles, nutria and other animal species.

Global Wildlife Center - Have you ever wiggled a camel's hump or been eye-to-eye with a giraffe? Global Wildlife's totally free-roaming, 900 acre preserve is home to thousands of animals from all over the world. Feed and touch the wildlife during the educational guided 1.5 hour safari wagon tours. 1 hour East of Baton Rouge.

The Louisiana Renaissance Festival - This is an extremely fun festival if you're looking for something different. Entertainment is endless during your visit.
