Piscataway ParkThe tranquil view from Mount Vernon of the Maryland shore of the Potomac is preserved as a pilot project in the use of easements to protect parklands from obtrusive urban expansion. The project began in 1952 to preserve the river view as in was during George Washington's day. Piscataway Park stretches for 6 miles from Piscataway Creek to Marshall Hall on the Potomac River.

Facilities include a picnic area and the National Colonial Farm.

Getting There:
Take Exit 3A from the Capital Beltway (I-95) to Rt. 210-S (Indian Head Highway) 10 miles to the intersection in Accokeek. Turn right onto Bryan's Point Road and go 4 mile to the Potomac River.
