The Gateway Arch - The St. Louis Gateway Arch weighs 17,246 tons. Nine hundred tons of stainless steel was used to build the Arch, more than any other project in history. The Arch was built at a cost of $13 million. International Institute's Festival of Nations - The International Institute's Festival of Nations unites the world's many cultures for a two-day event. Musical performances, dance troupes & drum circles keep festival-goers feet tapping while the international cuisine offerings delight the senses. St. Louis Tap Festival - The St. Louis Tap Festival is a week long event that educates, promotes, and celebrates the American art form of tap dance.
