Located in Brooksville. There are over 250 bird species to observe at this refuge. There is a 30-foot high observation platform the overlooks the Dickerson Arm of Bluff Lake that is open year round. The Morgan Hill Overlook provides one of the best views of the refuge and is also open year round. There are several trails and 2 boardwalks that give access to lakes for fishing or wildlife viewing. Wading birds, bald eagles, geese, white-tailed deer and alligators are just some of the wildlife you might see.
Located in Oxford, MS. Former home of William Faulkner. The house was originally built in 1844 and is on 29 acres of land. In 1972, his daughter sold the house to the University of Mississippi. The University maintains the home and tours are available.
