Located in Burlington on the shores of Lake Champlain. Lake Champlain is the home of one of the world’s oldest coral reefs and hundreds of species of fish and plants. This science center has over 100 interactive experiences for young children to adults. Some of the permanent exhibits here include the discovery place for the youngest visitors, the legend of Champ, explore a life-sized recreation of a shipwreck, feed some of the incredible fish found here, Frogworld with 15 different frog species, and ECHO’s new teen and adult scientific learning lab.
Located in Ferrisburgh which is about 30 miles south of Burlington. The campground has 73 sites with 13 lean-tos and 4 cabins and overlooks Lake Champlain. There is a play area and a swimming pool with lifeguards. Canoe, kayak and rowboat rentals are available. Other activities include fishing, sailing, hiking and exploring the Button Point Natural Area and the Nature Center. Open Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.
