Located in Peoria which is about 15 miles northwest of Phoenix. Become a crewmember on a 2-hour simulated space mission, attend a Family STAR night, take part in the Space-Tots program, watch a presentation on light and energy and view the exhibits. This space center was designed by 5th graders with exhibits on meteorites, a Playmotion exhibition on planets, a journey through the space program, and space shuttles.
Located about 30 miles from Flagstaff, AZ. Open all year. Visitor Center has exhibits that feature the stories of people who lived here thousands of years ago. Guided hikes are scheduled regularly in the summer. The Wupatki Pueblo Trail is a half-mile, self-guided tour of the largest pueblo in the Flagstaff area. No camping here. Other attractions in the area are Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument is 16 miles away, Walnut Canyon National Monument is 47 miles, the Grand Canyon is 85 miles.
