Colorado Balloon Classic - The Colorado Balloon Classic has grown to be the largest and the longest continuously running hot air balloon festival in the Rocky Mountain Region as well as the State of Colorado. The Colorado Balloon Classic is an annual family event - admission is free - held each Labor Day weekend.

First & Main Free Summer Concert Series - Don’t miss out on this 9-week concert series showcasing live music from Colorado Springs’ favorite musical acts including Rock, Blues, Country and Oldies. Event sponsors will be out every week offering entertainment, giveaways and fun for all. Concerts will take place Friday nights from five to seven.

Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days - One of the nation’s premier Rodeo Competitions! Colorado Springs is the focal point for World Champions and rising stars in their quest for the World Championship title. Since 1946, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days has donated proceeds to charitable programs and services benefiting local military personnel and their families.

Colorado College Music Festival - The festival is an intense three-week learning experience for students from around the world. The festival student concert series presents two festival orchestra concerts and numerous small ensemble performances, all open to the public. Students range in age from high school seniors to graduate students.

El Paso County Fair - Since its first, simple gathering in 1905, the Fair has not just gotten older, it has definitely gotten bigger and better. In eighty years it has survived, endured and grown through two world wars, a depression, recessions, monsoons, blizzards, and more. Family fun for everyone!

Farmer's Market - A visual and aromatic feast, farm tables at this market are loaded with the region's freshest fruits and vegetables, organic produce, free-range eggs, hazelnuts, honey, ciders, cheeses, seafood, free-range chickens, pasture-raised organic beef, goat meat, jams, sauces, cut flowers, nursery stock, fresh bread and other baked goods.

Outdoor Machinery Days - Hear the shrill whistle of the Western Museum of Mining & Industry's 1928 Osgood Steam Shovel. Learn how compressed air locomotives replaced the poor mule in hauling mountains of ore, and then see one rumble out of the past and down the track! Last, but not least, walk into the Museum's operating gold refinery. Listen to the stories describing the dangers of being a mill man. Understand how industrial revolution technology helped our ancestor's hew a living out of Colorado's hard rock, and then brace yourself as the kinetic energy of the 1890's refinery comes alive.

Pikes Peak International Hill Climb - The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the second oldest motor sports race in America and a long-standing tradition in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region. First competed in 1916 this "Race to the Clouds" will certainly get your heart pumping!

Rock Fair - The Western Museum of Mining & Industry partners with the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society to present the annual "Rock Fair at WMMI". A family event to include children's activities, food vendors, rock & mineral identification, seminars on rockhounding and more.

Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival - Dedicated to celebrating the drive, spirit and diversity of women, The Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival is a three day celebration of women and film. Currently the longest continuously running women's film festival in the world and enjoys the reputation of being one of the most highly regarded festivals of its kind. It is intimate, enlightening, and the ultimate experience for those who love film.

Territory Days - Territory Days has grown from a small neighborhood craft fair into a three-day street festival which now hosts over 180 craft, commercial and food booths. Between 80,000 and 140,000 guests, enjoy this event every Memorial weekend.

Winter Wildland - The holidays are more festive than ever at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Winter WildLand. With thousands of lights, holiday characters, the Gingerbread Yurt at Santa’s Summit and the opportunity to make gifts for the animals and accompany Santa as he delivers your presents. The Zoo is bustling with activities this season.
