Sierra Safari Zoo - A fixture of the Reno Sparks community over the last twenty years. Though small it has become the largest zoo in Nevada, with over two-hundred animals of over forty different species.

Carson Hot Springs Resort - Relax and enjoy the historic beauty of Carson Hot Springs Resort! Since 1849 people have been drawn to this natural phenomenon. The Resort offers a large outdoor pool, 10 private hot baths, massage therapy, motel rooms and a Bed & Breakfast.

Carson Valley Swim Center - Features include: A 25 yd x 25 meter, indoor, L-shaped, six lane competition pool, An indoor activity pool for children, kept at 86 degrees with water toys, Two fully enclosed waterslides. Two outdoor pools: a 25 yard competition pool and small family pool for younger children.

Nevada State Railroad Museum - Preserves the railroad heritage of Nevada, including locomotives and cars of the famous Virginia & Truckee Railroad and other railroads of the Silver State.

Virginia & Truckee Railroad - Take a ride back into history over the original historic Virginia & Truckee Railroad between Virginia City and through tunnel #4 to Gold Hill. In its heyday as many as 45 trains a day arrived and departed Virginia City. Today 58 years after the last train left the Comstock, you can once again ride over the historic railroad.

Chollar Mine Tours - An underground tour of an old silver and gold mine. The guided tour lasts a half hour and is a 400-foot level walk. Visitors see square-set timbering, silver ore, rock drills as well as displays of old equipment.

Pyramid Lake - While enjoying one of the largest freshwater lakes in the West, visitors witness unique rock formations and some of the most scenic desert views in Nevada. The Pyramid Lake Visitor Center is home to a museum devoted to the lake's natural history and the culture of the native people.

Children's Museum of Northern Nevada - Provides fun learning experiences in a 'hands on environment'. Unlike most museums, visitors are encouraged to touch, poke turn, pull and take part in this fun and enlightening adventure. As a matter of fact, it is when a child takes part that the Museum comes alive!

Tahoe Cruises - One of the oldest sailing companies in the US. They specialize in spectacular daily sightseeing and romantic sunset cruises, private cruises and charters on Lake Tahoe. Sailing on Lake Tahoe more than 6000 ft. above sea level surrounded by majestic snow capped peaks is an experience to remember.

Magic Carpet Golf - Miniature golf provides a challenge to young and old alike. This great place offers two 19-hole shaded, themed courses to play. For those wishing to play longer, there's also a 28-hole venue. If you want to beat your boss at a game of golf, you can hold your company picnic here. Birthday parties can also be arranged. In between rounds, try beating your kid at video games in the arcade or take a pizza break at Giorgio's Pizza Parlor.

National Automobile Museum - Travel through time like few other places can- you'll walk down streets of the past. Its cars, sights, sounds, and places are yours to explore. Beyond the streets, you'll discover a century of automobiles: more than 220 antique, vintage, classic, special interest and one-of-a-kind wonders.

Animal Ark - From the very beginning, Animal Ark has striven to provide a safe haven for non-releasable wildlife. While providing comfortable space for the animals, these exhibits are also designed to enhance the visitor's experience. Since many of Animal Ark's residents are predators and therefore elusive and shy in nature, this provides a rare opportunity for the public to get very close and be able to observe the animals.

Nevada Museum of Art - The Museum offers a broad range of art exhibitions and experiences for you to explore within one of northern Nevada's most architecturally noteworthy buildings. Discover and enjoy art from around the world by visiting the Museum's rotating exhibitions, or investigate art relating to environments in the Museum's permanent collections.

Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center - Public star shows and large-format films showing daily in the dome theater, and public star observing courtesy of the Astronomical Society of Nevada. The first planetarium in the world to project full-dome movies of time-lapse clouds and weather phenomena.

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe - From Tahoe's Highest Base (elevation 8,260'), you're launched nearly 1,800 vertical feet in 3.5 minutes. The reward? Panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and Nevada. The real payoff begins as you descend into 1,200 acres of some of the Sierra's best powder.

Brewery Arts Center - Carson City's local arts agency and community arts center. Situated within the redevelopment district in a historic set of rehabilitated buildings, formerly the Carson Brewing Company, they offer more than 130 cultural events yearly in theater, music, vocal performance, dance, literature and visual art.

Nevada State Museum - Your first step brings you into the former Carson City Mint building where coins were minted from 1870 to 1893. Other exhibits on display about Nevada's geology, history, and culture.

Sparks Museum & Cultural Center- The Museum collection focuses on the history of Sparks and the Truckee Meadows including the role played by the railroad in the development of the area. The Museum role extends beyond collecting and preserving artifacts, graphic arts and documents pertinent to Sparks heritage.

Fun Quest - Never-ending fun is what you will find at this incredible 40,000 square foot fun center, which features a wide array of activities and games for the entire family, including more than 200 of the latest most exciting video and redemption games. This 5,000-square foot futuristic arena comes complete with music and special effects to make it both physically and mentally challenging.

Wilbur D. May Center - The Wilbur D. May Center is an adventure for people of all ages. It is a Museum, a collection of rare and exotic artifacts, a place to experience fun traveling exhibits and special moments. The Arboretum is where gardeners gather seeds of knowledge; an incomparable display and living museum of colorful flowers, creekside meadows, outdoor courtyards and secluded benches.
