Cheetah Run - Running and Zoo enthusiasts alike will enjoy a stunning new course that winds its way through the Zoo, highlighting our brilliant gardens and exotic animal exhibits. Also new this year, each runner will be equipped with chip-timing at the start and finish line that will give real-time, accurate race results. May Festival - The oldest continuous choral festival in the Western Hemisphere and one of the only true festivals that remain in our country today. Featuring the May Festival Chorus and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Festival presents marvelously concentrated choral repertoire. Cincinnati Wine Festival - Founded in 1991 to promote the wine industry and raise funds for local charities. The Festival is made up of four prominent events: the Winery Dinners, the Charity Auction & Luncheon, the Grand Tastings and the Russ Wiles Memorial Golf Tournament. Cincy-Cinco - The holiday of Cinco De Mayo commemorates the victory of the Mexicans over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862.Come enjoy authentic Latino art, music, food, dancing and children's activities. Fun for everyone and free to the public. Fringe Festival - During the festival local, regional, national and international artists who push the boundaries of the “norm” invade downtown Cincinnati for 12 days of artistic celebration in both traditional and non-traditional spaces. These artists represent a variety of media including theatre, dance, music, poetry, visual art, film and beyond. Cincinnati Music Festival - A two-night extravaganza of R&B, jazz, hip-hop and soul in Cincinnati. It dates back to 1962 as the original “jazz festival” and continues to attract fans from across the country. This is more than a concert; it is an event! MidPoint Music Festival - A music festival in Cincinnati's city center of Downtown and Over-the-Rhine in late September. MPMF focuses on helping emerging artists gain quality exposure by performing for a dedicated and passionate audience. |
Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion - This outdoor event continues to grow and is now one of Cincinnati's largest family-focused events including workshops, issue forms, entertainment, exhibits and more. These Celebrations uplift and uphold the Black family, serving as a rallying point for government agencies, community-based organization and families of all compositions to work together in a fun-filled environment while generating solutions to the issues affecting African-American families. Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati USA - An outdoor festival held in downtown Zinzinnati, Ohio that showcases the rich German heritage of Southwestern Ohio, as well as tasty samples of German-style music, food and beer. First held in 1976, the event has grown to be North America's largest Oktoberfest with over 500,000 people attending each year. Riverfest - An annual tradition that has taken place since 1977 and has now evolved into an all day event is held every year on the day before Labor Day. The festival is filled with many activities and ends with a gathering on the banks of the Ohio River in Cincinnati to watch a spectacular fireworks show. Over 2,500 boats jam the river to get a front row seat for the show. Taste of Cincinnati USA - Features more than 40 fine restaurants serving up delicious and delectable menu items. In the weeks leading up to Taste each year, menu items are previewed and judged for prestigious Best of Taste Awards. It is also a music festival, with continuous live entertainment featuring local and national recording stars performing on multiple stages throughout the event. |
