Bit-O-Wyo Ranch - Join us for one-of-a-kind western entertainment, fabulous trail rides and a cowboy experience at the Bit-O-Wyo Ranch in the foothills of the Medicine Bow National Forest between Cheyenne and Laramie. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day or by special request. Cheyenne Botanic Gardens - We function as a traditional public botanic garden with nine acres of landscapes and gardens located in Cheyenne's Lions Park. See numerous specialty gardens and landscapes. We also grow and plant over 80 flower beds in our local parks and parkways functioning as a municipal nursery. Cheyenne Depot Museum - The museum tells the story about the establishment of Cheyenne during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad, the operation of the Union Pacific Railroad and the history of the construction of the Union Pacific Depot. Experience the second floor of the Cheyenne Depot Museum which is a "touchable museum experience" that has received rave reviews from children of all ages. Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum & Store - Marvel at one of the nation's largest collections of historic horse-drawn carriages and wagons, experience the nation's most celebrated western art exhibitions and trace the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days from it's humble beginnings in 1897 to the world renowned pageantry today as The Daddy of 'em All. Cheyenne Little Theatre Players - We offer a year-round season of full-scale productions, including Readers Theatres, and of course, The Old Fashioned Melodrama. During the season, the CLTP’s volunteers contribute to the group’s successful shows by performing, directing, helping build sets, operating spotlights, ushering, serving concessions, staffing will call and the box office and doing much, much more. Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra - The Cheyenne symphony Orchestra is a group of musically talented individuals. The Orchestra puts on many different shows throughout the year. Under each of these conductor’s the symphony has continued its growth as a very fine orchestra and is in the top 200 professional orchestras recognized in the United States today. |
Cowgirls of the West Museum & Gift Store - Highlights the substantial contributions that cowgirls have made to the area’s history. Includes trick riding saddles, rodeo outfits and other memorabilia. Includes a gift shop featuring western items and western/rodeo paintings. F.E. Warren Air Force Base Museum - The Museum is in historic Building 210, which was the Army commander’s headquarters at the turn of the century. You will find exhibits in the first floor rooms, as well as the museum annex building 211, depicting the history of missiles and that of the 90th Space Wing. Historic Governors' Mansion - This Colonial Revival Executive Mansion served as home to Wyoming’s Governors and their families for 71 years, (1905 to 1976). The history embodied in this mansion brings to life the people who served the State of Wyoming and the Nation from this location. Nelson Museum of the West - The Nelson Museum of the West was inspired by the plains of Africa, in the outback of Australia, the snow of Siberia and Alaska, and in hunting camps in numerous other locations around the world. This museum houses some fascinating exhibits about the wild west and the wildlife that thrives there. Terry Bison Ranch - Whether it's a family picnic, a wedding, catered event, or just a night's stay, the Terry Bison Ranch staff is ready to accommodate your need.
