Austin Duck Adventures - The tour goes through downtown, to the State Capitol, and the Governor's Mansion. Then you waddle on down to the LBJ Library, Sixth Street's music district, historic Congress Avenue. Then onto Lake Austin where you take a splash-literally into the lake! Known as one of the oldest museums in Texas, the Elisabet Ney Museum offers visitors a beautifully preserved glimpse into early Texas history and into the life of a creative and spirited woman who lived life passionately in her own way.

LBJ Presidential Library - The Library houses forty-five million pages of historical documents which include the papers from the entire public career of Lyndon Baines Johnson and also from those of close associates. These papers and the vast administrative files from the presidency are used primarily by scholars. This is one of the most visited presidential libraries in the nation, this museum is supplied with information regarding one of the most controversial times in United States history.

Mc Kinney Falls State Park - The park is named for Thomas F. McKinney, who came to Texas in the early 1820s as one of Stephen F. Austin's first 300 colonists. Sometime between 1850 and 1852, McKinney moved to Travis County and his property on Onion Creek, where he became a prominent breeder of race horses with his own stable and private track. It is a beautiful State Park with camping, hiking fishing and wild life.

Texas Military Forces Museum - If you are a student of military history you will really enjoy the Texas Military Forces Museum. It is the only museum in the nation that presents the history of the Texas Military from the 1st Militia in 1823 to the present day.

Texas State Capitol - The Texas Capitol is an extraordinary example of late 19th century public architecture and is widely recognized as one of the nation's most distinguished state capitols. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986 for its "significant contribution to American history."

Austin Zoo - With more than 300 animals across more than 100 different species, Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary is a private, non-profit zoo rescuing animals and serving the Austin community. Situated in the beautiful Hill Country just outside of town, Austin Zoo is visited by hundreds of thousands of individuals each year.

Blanton Museum of Art - The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin is one of the foremost university art museums in the country, and has the largest and most comprehensive collection of art in Central Texas. The Blanton's permanent collection of over 17,000 works is recognized for its European paintings, an encyclopedic collection of prints and drawings, and modern and contemporary American and Latin American art.

Bullock Texas State History Museum - This museum tells the “Story of Texas” with three floors of interactive exhibits, the special effects show, The Star of Destiny, in the Texas Spirit Theater, and Austin's only IMAX Theatre. A 35-foot-tall bronze Lone Star sculpture greets visitors in front of the Museum, and a colorful terrazzo floor in the Museum’s rotunda features a campfire scene with enduring themes from Texas’ past.

French Legation Museum - We invite you to take a trip back to a living part of Texas history. The French Legation was originally built by the French diplomat to The Republic of Texas, Alphonse Dubois de Saligny. In 1956, the home became a museum under the custodianship of The Daughters of The Republic of Texas. Today, the Museum is devoted to sharing the site’s past and rich cultural history of Texas with the public.

UMLAUF Sculpture Garden and Museum - The full range of Charles Umlauf's beautiful work can be seen in both permanent and changing exhibits inside the museum as well as outside in the immaculate gardens. The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum offers tours, educational workshops, lectures, and many other exciting and interesting events.

Zilker Botanical Garden - Twenty-two beautiful acres overlook the Zilker Park fields bordering Barton Springs Road. The garden is comprised of several different gardens, including the Cactus and Succulent, Xeriscape, Herb and Fragrance, Rose, Azalea, Butterfly and Taniguchi Gardens. Taniguchi is an amazing Japanese landscape with a waterfall, running stream, lily ponds and wooden bridges. A must see when you are in Austin.
