Armadillo Christmas Bazaar - Eclectic gift items combine with area entertainment to fill the Austin Music Hall with an aura of old Austin. the Armadillo Bazaar has celebrated Austin's unique cultural identity since 1976. The show is renowned as a treasure trove of original, one of a kind art and gift items made for you by the very best local and national artists and artisans.

Austin Home and Garden Show - Over the last weekend in January, the Austin Convention Center hosts exhibitions, programs and expert advice related to home decorating, repair and outdoor landscaping, gardening and maintenance. Proceeds benefit Capital Area Food Bank, Austin Humane Society and Austin Habitat for Humanity.

Austin Ice Cream Festival - Around the first week in August, the public and their pets are welcome to play games and enjoy live entertainment, and lots of ice cream, at Waterloo Park on Trinity. It is an event centered around family, fun, and ice cream which harkens back to a time when ice cream trucks roamed the streets and running through sprinklers was an art form.

Austin Reggae Festival - This celebration of spring brings together incredible music, tasty foods, arts and crafts, plus premium people-watching at one of the city's most popular outdoor venues.

Chuy's Christmas Parade - Held the Saturday following Thanksgiving, Chuy's Christmas Parade features giant inflatable balloons, holiday floats, classic cars, marching bands and Santa. However, in addition to being great entertainment for those in attendance, Chuy's Christmas Parade also serves as a toy drive for needy children. Spectators are encouraged to bring a toy, which will be collected by 'Santa's Helpers' on behalf of Operation Blue during the parade.

Devine's Fall Festival - In Devine, the Fall Festival kicks off with a morning parade, followed by an antique show, car show, tractor pull, and arts and crafts sale. Carnival rides, music, and entertainment are part of the fun.

Free Sunday Concerts - Each year, Austin Symphony members present a summer of free Sunday evening ensemble concerts from late May through late August at the Long Center Terrace in Hartman Park. Concertgoers often bring picnic fare.

Louisiana Swamp Thing & Crawfish Festival - In late March, downtown Austin is filled with Cajun-style crawfish and other seafood, live brass and blues bands, when this annual Louisiana-themed outdoor festival is held across from the Texas State History Museum.

Rodeo Austin - Headliner shows, prize livestock, and rodeo action grab the spotlight as Austin puts on a city-wide cowboy hat for western-style action!

Trail of Lights - Starting after Thanksgiving, this month-long festival opens with lighting of the Zilker Tree, with a pedestrian Trail of Lights transforming a mile-long stretch of Zilker Park into a lighted fairyland.
