J.C. Raulston Arboretum - The JC Raulston Arboretum is a nationally acclaimed garden with one of the largest and most diverse collections of landscape plants adapted for landscape use in the Southeast. Plants especially adapted to Piedmont North Carolina conditions are collected and evaluated.

Joel Lane Museum House - Visit the Birthplace of North Carolina's capital city, an award-winning heritage site. Joel Lane built his home in the early 1770’s in what was a very rural part of North Carolina. He is called “The Father of Raleigh” because he facilitated the location of North Carolina’s capital city on his land in 1792.


Legends of Harley Drag Racing Museum - The only Harley-Davidson drag racing museum in the world, located on the second floor of one of the largest Harley dealerships in the United States. The newly-expanded showroom is the home of the world-famous drag racing champion Ray Price.

Raleigh Little Theater - Raleigh Little Theatre is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to enrich, educate, and entertain our community by providing a superior theater experience. Raleigh Little Theatre is a community theater that produces 11 full productions annually and maintains a comprehensive youth and adult theater education programs.

Shelley Lake Park - Shelley Lake consists of a 53 acre lake and park land surrounding the lake. Shelley Lake has 2 miles of paved, scenic greenway trails around the lake. There are many opportunities to enjoy nature, including beautiful and serene woods, views of the lake, and abundant wildlife. Shelley Lake also has a playground area, and three open fields within the park available for use.
